Airplanes kept flying by, so most of the following pictures were taken during their flight overhead.
Here Z & I are looking at the plane instead of the camera.

Here's Z signing airplane in his baby-sign kind of way. The actual sign looks like a flying I Love You.
Another plane flying by. Another opportunity to show the sign.
In this picture I look like I'm trying to imitate a duck! In actuality, I'm signing NO to our friend David who happened to be at the house while we did this photoshoot. I'm glad he was there because he danced around in silly ways that got great smiles from Z.
You can probably guess what I'm signing here. Or if you don't know the actual phrase, you get the idea. "All Done" The sign starts with both hands on either side of the head, palms facing back. Flip hands around like you see me doing in the picture and you're signing All Done.

Great photos!! Zander is gorgeous and the two of you look so cute all cuddled up in the Ergo together! I'm especially intrigued by the baby sign, as my boyfriend is deaf. And I'm very happy to hear that the art show was a success!

Thanks for your comment. I recently upgraded my blog so I'm not surprised to hear that you couldn't access it. Because I've upgraded I can only leave comments on other upgraded blogs...weird. I'm glad you finally go through though!
I've been interested in sign since I was a sophomore in high school. I never did anything with it until after I had Z and bought some baby sign DVDs. I feel in love with the language! So much so that I'm developing a baby sign class and will be taking the Sign Interpreters Program at a local collage. I'd love to 'chat' with you & your boyfriend via email about sign and the deaf community if you're willing.
Thanks for continuing to check my blog even though I haven't written anything about being/going raw. My time is so limited....
